MyHome BTicino at the top of the World

The Pyramid Laboratory/Observatory is a structure, created in 1990 at the base of the Everest to study the human physiology at high altitude, climate change and the geology of the Earth.
For the recent modernization of the Pyramid, the Ev-K2-CNR Committee has chosen BTicino to renovate the electrical and technological systems.
We have interviewed Gianluca Bonfichi, the technician who participated in the design and installation of the BTicino systems, which now has become the "highest" home automation system in the World.

Why the Ev-K2-CNR Committee selected Bticino for the automation and remote management of the scientific pyramid located at the base of the Everest.

As part of the large renovation project of the Pyramid and lodge infrastructures including the electrical system, the remote monitoring and the power management became absolutely necessary to cope with the growing number of scientific applications.
The structure is energy self-sufficient. It uses solar panels, hydroelectric turbines and backup batteries to power the various equipment.
The main factor that prompted the EvK2Cnr Committee to select BTicino technology was the need to implement a system that chooses among different energy sources to power the various types of equipment, provides remote controlling and monitoring, continuous visualization and recording of the electrical parameters at the various faces (production, storage and distribution), and guarantees a cap on the energy consumption used for lighting and sound.

Which troubles did you encountered during the design of the project?

The project started in June of 2008.
The biggest difficulties we have encountered was to prepare material packs that enable their transport through the use of high altitude porters. This forced us to split the main electrical panel in many small packs, in weighing and size.
Then, the condition for minimize consumption of components, to avoid unnecessary burdening of energy, has further complicated the choice of equipment.

How is powered the Pyramid and the MyHome System?

Photovoltaic system, installed on the Pyramid roof, is the primary energy source. The distribution system has the features of the Italian standard, 230 Vac - 50 Hz.
A curiosity about the non-utilization of wind power: at 5000 meters the wind does not fail for sure, but the low air density makes inefficient the modern wind power system.

Describe what has been installed?

BTicino has developed the executive and detailed project of the technology infrastructure. It was realized a multi-source energy distribution system and a lighting management system, both remotely controlled via Internet thanks satellite communication.
The whole systems are managed by an advanced system of power management. This is responsible for managing and controlling the different energy sources, creating a constant energy balance between the availability of electrical power and the absorption of various loads.
It 'important to remember that all the components of the project are products / services available to everyone in the normal BTicino catalog.

At the headquarters of the Committee how do they control the plant?

The remote control is done using the SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) platform of BTicino.
The software, customized for this particular application, can interact through a simple graphical interface, with different gateways: a RS485/LAN converter for Modbus communication, TiControl uses this protocol for the equipments inside the electrical panel, two Web Server F452 for the Home Automation System control through the OpenWebNet protocol.
Internet access is guaranteed by a geostationary satellite, 36,000 kilometres away from Earth. This communication ensures data availability with a maximum delay of 3 seconds.

How do people live at 5000m of altitude and spend time?

In the Pyramid there was a very friendly feeling: an excellent relationship was established soon with the Nepali staff members. They oversee and manage the Laboratory all the year. Dinners based on Italian food, well cooked by the chef Jetta, watch DVD and play card help us to enjoy the stay.
During the 18 days spent in the upper Khumbu valley there was not so much free time, but we had some moments of particular interest: a trip aboard a small boat to the lower lake (5,067 m) to recover sensors used for depth research in progress, a guided visit to the ABC Station (5,078 m) and a tiring trip to Kala Pattar, where is installed the radio relay (5,634 m) that connects the weather station to The Everest South Col (8,000 m ) and the ABC station, from which we were lucky enough to enjoy a panoramic view of the Everest, Lhotse, the famous Icefall and the Base Camp.

What do you carry with you after this special experience in Nepal?

First, I can assure you that it wasn't the "usual" work travel, but a true technical-scientific mission... believe it!
It was a "priceless" professional experience, which allowed me to increase conspicuously on technical background.
Follow a so particular operation, from design, installation, up to testing and commissioning, was a unique opportunity that gave me enormous satisfaction.
Personally it was an adventure that will be impossible to forget.

Il Laboratorio-Osservatorio Piramide è una struttura energeticamente autosufficiente, realizzata nel 1990 ai piedi dell'Everest per studiare la fisiologia umana in quota, i cambiamenti climatici e la geologia della Terra.
Recentemente ammodernata, il Comitato Ev-K2-Cnr ha scelto BTicino come partner per rinnovare gli impianti elettrici e tecnologici.
Vi proponiamo l'intervista a Gianluca Bonfichi, il tecnico che ha partecipato alla progettazione ed installazione dei sistemi BTicino, realizzando così l'impianto domotico più alto del Mondo.

Cosa ha spinto il comitato Ev-K2-CNR a scegliere di domotizzare e remotizzare la piramide scientifica ai piedi dell� Everest.

A seguito di un ampio progetto di rinnovamento degli impianti elettrici presenti nella Piramide e nel Lodge, la possibilità di controllare e gestire da remoto i bilanci energetici è divenuta una necessità indispensabile per far fronte al crescente sviluppo delle applicazioni scientifiche.
La costruzione è totalmente autosufficiente dal punto di vista energetico e si avvale di più fonti per fornire alimentazione alle varie utenze: pannelli solari, turbina idroelettrica e gruppo elettrogeno.
L'implementazione di un sistema che rendesse possibile la scelta della sorgente elettrica da utilizzare in funzione della natura delle apparecchiature da alimentare, con interventi anche a distanza, la capacità di visualizzare e storicizzare costantemente i parametri elettrici durante le varie fasi (produzione, accumulo e distribuzione) e l'applicazione di una tecnologia elettronica che garantisse un contenimento dei consumi dell'impianto di illuminazione, sono i fattori principali che hanno spinto il comitato EvK2Cnr a stringere la partnership con BTicino.

Quando è cominciato il progetto, che eventuali difficoltà avete incontrato?

Il progetto è cominciato nel mese di Giugno del 2008.
Le difficoltà maggiori le abbiamo incontrate nel dover necessariamente predisporre la costruzione e l'imballaggio dei materiali per rendere possibile il loro trasporto in quota attraverso l'impiego di portatori. Questo fatto ci ha costretti a frazionare il quadro elettrico principale in molti piccoli scomparti, di peso e dimensioni ridotte.
Inoltre il presupposto di limitare il più possibile gli autoconsumi della componentistica, per evitare di gravare sulle fonti energetiche, ha ulteriormente complicato la scelta delle apparecchiature.

Come viene alimentata la Piramide e l�impianto MyHome?

La fonte energetica primaria è rappresentata dal sistema fotovoltaico, installato sui lati della Piramide. In ordine di importanza seguono poi la turbina idroelettrica e il gruppo elettrogeno.
Il sistema di distribuzione ha le caratteristiche dello standard italiano, 230 Vac - 50 Hz.
Tutte tre le fonti di energia erogano autonomamente elettricità secondo questo standard.
Una curiosità riguarda il mancato utilizzo di energia eolica: a 5.000 metri di quota il vento non manca di certo, ma la bassa densità dell'aria rende inefficienti gli attuali sistemi di generazione.

Ci descrivi cosa è stato installato?

BTicino si è impegnata nello sviluppo del progetto esecutivo e di dettaglio per l'infrastruttura tecnologica. E' stato realizzato un sistema di distribuzione energia multi sorgente e un sistema di gestione dell'impianto domotico di illuminazione, entrambi tele controllabili via internet satellitare da remoto.
Le due parti dell'impianto sono inserite in un sistema evoluto di controllo dei consumi, che ha il compito di gestire e controllare le diverse fonti realizzando un costante bilancio energetico tra disponibilità di energia elettrica e assorbimenti dei vari carichi utilizzatori.

E' importante sottolineare come tutti i componenti e l�attività di sviluppo del progetto d�integrazione sono prodotti/servizi "da catalogo" e quindi alla portata di tutti.

Presso la sede del comitato, a Bergamo, come controllano l�impianto?

Il telecontrollo dell'impianto avviene utilizzando la piattaforma S.C.A.D.A. (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) di BTicino.
Il software, appositamente personalizzato per questa particolare applicazione, consente di interagire, attraverso un' interfaccia grafica, con i differenti gateway utilizzati per lo scambio di informazioni tra i sistemi: un convertitore RS485/LAN per la comunicazione in Modbus, il protocollo previsto per le apparecchiature TiControl presenti all'interno del quadro elettrico, e due Web Server F452 per il trasferimento dei dati con i dispositivi domotici My Home via protocollo OpenWebNet.
La connessione internet è garantita da un satellite geostazionario distante 36.000 km dalla Terra, che assicura, dalla Piramide, l'accesso e la disponibilità dei dati presenti sulla rete attraverso la stazione terrestre di Singapore con un tempo massimo di latenza di poco oltre i 3 secondi.

Come si vive a 5000m di quota e come trascorrono la giornata i ricercatori?

Il benessere psico-fisico di cui abbiamo fortunatamente goduto durante tutta la missione ci ha permesso di superare senza particolari difficoltà i disturbi dovuti all'ipossia, rendendo rapido il processo di acclimatamento alle condizioni estreme dell'alta quota.
In Piramide regnava un clima decisamente amichevole: l'affiatamento tra i componenti del team italiano non si è fatto attendere e l'ottimo rapporto instaurato ben presto con i membri dello staff nepalese, che presidia e gestisce le strutture tutti i giorni dell'anno, hanno reso il soggiorno in quota ancor più piacevole, tra cene di gruppo a base di cibo italiano, cucinate con maestria dal cuoco Jetta, serate davanti alla TV, godendoci una collana di film in DVD.
Durante i 18 giorni vissuti nell'alta valle del Khumbu è stato poco il tempo libero a disposizione, ma nonostante ciò ci siamo concessi alcuni momenti di particolare interesse: un'escursione al lago inferiore (5.067 m) per recuperare a bordo di un piccolo gommone i sensori di profondità necessari alle ricerche scientifiche in corso, la visita guidata alla stazione ABC (5.078 m) ed una faticosa gita a Kala Pattar, dove è installato il ponte radio (5.634 m) che collega la stazione meteorologica di Colle Sud (8.000 m) e la stazione ABC, da cui abbiamo avuto la fortuna di godere di una panoramica veduta dell� Everest, del Lhotse, dell� Icefall e del sottostante Campo base.

Cosa ti porti con te dopo quest�esperienza eccezionale in Nepal?

Innanzitutto posso garantirvi che non è stata la "solita" trasferta di lavoro, ma bensì una vera e propria missione tecnico-scientifica... sono sicuro che non stenterete a crederlo!
Dal punto di vista professionale è stata un'esperienza "impagabile", che mi ha permesso di accrescere cospicuamente il bagaglio tecnico sia nei diversi settori che ben oltre i vasti confini dell'offerta BTicino.
Seguire da vicino un'operazione così particolare ed impegnativa, dal progetto, all'installazione, fino al collaudo e messa in servizio, è stata un'occasione unica che mi ha procurato enormi soddisfazioni.
Personalmente è stata un'avventura che sarà impossibile dimenticare.

Interview to Ulderico Arcidiaco

It is said, that you as a child had a passion for the sockets. Is that where your passion for home automation started?

As a child I used to play with batteries, switches and light bulbs, then the hobby of electronics when I was 12 years old. And a couple of years later when I had the opportunity to purchase the first programmable computers of the time. I studied electronic engineering without even thinking that they could be other fields of study.

How did you find the Community My Open? Since when are you a member?

When I started to design and develop HSYCO, I desperately needed technical information about the OpenWebNet protocol. That is why I started to visit the MyOpen Community in August 2006.

What do you think about the community and the forum?

It is a modern tool, essential to support complex products as My Home. I do not think it is possible for us, system integrators, to develop applications without having a tool for collaboration as the forum Demonstrated by the fact that in other areas it is common to use similar means of support, especially when we talk of technologically complex products.

What has the Community My Open allowed you to do?

Simply, if I had not found the community, I would have not focus my attention to My Home BTicino, and perhaps I would have lost the opportunity to work in home automation applications. Probably without the community, there would not be Home Systems Consulting, nor HSYCO today.

Is there anything that you propose to improve it?

In general is good. It 'important, in my opinion, that the forum is not only seen as a meeting place for people outside Bticino. But, there must be more significant direct input from BTicino staff, particularly those directly involved in development activities. Today, it happens sporadically and it is not always systematic.

How do you for see the market for home automation in the coming years?

I think it is one of the most important markets with the greatest potential in the world of technology, the market offers many business opportunities to grow. Smart home solutions will apply to all homes, even in non-luxury housing. In summary, I think it is a market to invest without hesitation.

With what countries you have contacts through your applications?

For the moment, mainly Italy and Switzerland, but have interesting prospects in South America, India and Middle East. These are markets that offer significant opportunities, but they must be approached with great professionalism and adequate resources. We are preparing for this challenge.

Why have you thought integrating the iPod in My Home?

My Home is a modular platform and relatively inexpensive, the Ipod Touch is a good human interface to control a home, also inexpensive and
flexible. Moreover, the simplicity of the technical solutions provided by OpenWebNet gateway allowed us to achieve a system characterized by excellent performance and great reliability.

Si dice che da piccolo avessi la passione per le prese di corrente, è da lì che nasce la passione per la domotica?

Quando ero bambino giocavo con pile, interruttori e lampadine, poi l'hobby dell'elettronica a 12 anni, la programmazione un paio d'anni dopo non appena ho avuto la possibilità di acquistare le prime calcolatrici programmabili dell'epoca. Ho studiato Ingegneria Elettronica senza neanche pensare che potessero esistere altri indirizzi di studi.

Come hai conosciuto la Community My Open? Da quando sei utente?

Quando ho iniziato a progettare e sviluppare HSYCO avevo disperatamente bisogno di informazioni tecniche e precise sul protocollo OpenWebNet; per questo motivo ho iniziato a visitare la Community My Open di cui sono utente dall'inizio di Agosto 2006.

Cosa ne pensi della Community e del forum?

E' uno strumento moderno e fondamentale per il supporto di un’ offerta come My Home. Non credo sia possibile per noi system integrator pensare di sviluppare applicazioni senza avere uno strumento di comunicazione e condivisione come il forum.
Lo dimostra il fatto che anche in altri settori è normale utilizzare simili strumenti di supporto, soprattutto se si parla di prodotti tecnologicamente complessi.

Quali opportunità ti ha aperto la Community My Open?

Semplicemente, se non avessi trovato la community non credo che avrei sviluppato la mia attenzione verso My Home di BTicino e forse verso la domotica in generale. Probabilmente senza la community oggi non ci sarebbero né Home Systems Consulting né HSYCO.

C'è qualcosa che proporresti per migliorarla?

In generale va bene così.
E' importante però, secondo me, che il forum non sia solo visto come un luogo di incontro di persone esterne, ma che ci sia un rilevante contributo diretto da parte delle persone BTicino, in particolare quelle direttamente coinvolte nelle attività di sviluppo. Oggi questo accade in modo non sempre sistematico.

Come pensi evolva il mercato della domotica nei prossimi anni?

Credo sia uno dei mercati più importanti e con il maggior potenziale nel mondo della tecnologia, un mercato ancora completamente da riempire. E' inoltre destinato ad allargarsi grazie alla possibilità di rendere sempre meno esclusivo l'uso di soluzioni domotiche, ormai possibili anche in abitazioni non di lusso. In sintesi, ritengo sia un mercato in cui investire senza esitazione.

Con che Paesi hai contatti grazie alle tue applicazioni?

Per il momento prevalentemente Italia e Svizzera, ma abbiamo prospettive interessanti in Sud America, India e Middle East. Sono mercati che offrono grandi opportunità, ma che devono essere affrontati con grande professionalità e risorse adeguate. Ci stiamo strutturando per questa sfida.

Perchè hai pensato proprio all'integrazione dell’ iPod con My Home?

My Home è una piattaforma modulare e relativamente poco costosa, mi sembra un ottimo complemento per una soluzione di controllo pensata per dispositivi come l'iPod touch, a basso costo e molto flessibile. Inoltre la semplicità delle soluzioni tecniche fornite dai gateway OpenWebNet ci ha permesso di realizzare un sistema caratterizzato da prestazioni eccellenti e da una grande affidabilità.

Interview to Andrea Petrelli

Dear Andrea, with you starts a new My Open project. The intention is to understand directly from the user’s voice the feeling and the experiences lived thanks to the Community.

Our “007” has informed us that you are a software developer, how did you start developing software?

I became a software freelance, after working 6 years for a software house developing ERP (Enterprise Resource Management) solutions.
I have developed software for Windows and Linux platforms, and since a year ago I have been developing for Mac and iPhone platforms.

We are curious, how does your passion for home automation started?

I installed the electrical curtain, while I was rebuilding my house, and I needed to know how control the curtains remotely.
The installer, first proposed a not so good device, and later he mentioned the home automation system of Bticino.
Since them I started to study MyHome to discover all its functions. Now, home automation has become my passion and I dream to find the way to transform it into a future job.

In your opinion how does people feel home automation?

Right now, home automation is considered a luxury, complicated and unnecessary. We are taking on the job to change this perception.

MyOpen Community, how did you discover it?

When I started to add new functions to my home automation system, the first thing was to find a software to control all the devices in the home.
I have to say that I was really pleasantly surprised to discover that the protocol was open, and with a community of end users and installers.
I was positively surprised also for the open approach of MyHome; for a company as Bticino this approach is an indicator of strong innovation.

A feeling on Community and forum?

I am very positive about it, I have met well qualified and very helpful people.

What added value did you get from the Community?

This community is source of opportunity and motivation, because it allows you to be in contact with the end users of iMyHome, and with the installers that like to show and sell it to their customers. It motivates me to improve my application and to add function that normally you would not think about.

Can you suggest on how to improve the Community?

It would be nice to organize some contest to involve users to give us feedback and motivate new applications.

Peoples know you because of the famous application iMyHome, that I also use to control my My Home installation. How and when have you got the idea to develop it?

I immediately understood the potential when I have bought my first iPhone. Unfortunately the official SDK platform was not available at that time, this created some complications, but I was able to overcome them by learning about IPhone to be ready when Apple opened the AppStore.

Why have you thought to use MyHome for your integration?

I selected MyHome because it was installed in my house, the perceived open approach confirmed me that it has been the best choice.

Did the MyOpen Community help you developing the application?

I have to repeat that the Community has contributed a lot while application was being developed. It received not only suggestions but also many hours of work.
I have to say thanks to various forum users because they were beta tester, they gave me precious suggestions, and some of them wrote down the manuals!

Describe your customers and their needs (regarding integration and customization)

My Customers are iMyHome users. They like to control everything, in a way simple and fast. More you give them, more they ask from you.
A frequent request is to receive the video door call directly in iMyHome, but this is not possible yet.

Other than Italy, are there customers from other countries?

iMyHome is sold mainly in Belgium, Russia, France, Spain, but also in USA and Asia.

You and iMyHome are mentioned in a lot of magazines and web sites. Where you expecting all that coverage?

Honestly no, but I’m really happy for it.

I nostri “007” ci informano che sei uno sviluppatore informatico, come hai iniziato?

Ho lavorato per 6 anni in una software house che realizza verticali su gestionali e dal 2002 sono un libero professionista.
Sviluppo software su piattaforme Windows e Linux e da un anno ormai mi sono avvicinato anche a Mac e quindi iPhone.

Siamo curiosi, da dove proviene la tua passione per la domotica?

Ristrutturando casa ho installato le tapparelle elettriche e mi sono chiesto come controllarle da più punti e magari tutte insieme.
L'elettricista, dopo avermi proposto qualche centralina di dubbia qualità, mi ha accennato qualcosa sul sistema domotico BTicino, da li ho iniziato a documentarmi e, pian piano, ho scoperto tutte le soluzioni My Home.
Per ora posso considerare la domotica solo come una passione ma spero di poter riuscire un giorno a farne un lavoro.

Secondo la tua esperienza che percezione si ha della domotica?

Per ora ancora come una cosa di lusso, complicata e fondamentalmente inutile.
E' compito nostro sfatare questi preconcetti.

Community My Open , come l’hai conosciuta?

Quando ho iniziato a pensare di implementare nel mio impianto altre funzionalità ho subito cercato il modo per poterlo controllare tramite software.
Devo dire che sono rimasto meravigliato dal fatto che il protocollo era aperto e che esisteva una community di utenti e installatori.
Mi ha positivamente sorpreso l’apertura che ho riscontrato nel sistema My Home; per un’azienda del calibro di Bticino un tale approccio è sicuramente indice di forte innovazione.

Un sentimento a caldo sulla Community e sul forum?

Assolutamente tutto il bene possibile.
Ho sempre trovato gente competente e disponibile.

Che valore aggiunto ti ha dato la Community?

La community è una fonte di opportunità e stimoli perché ti mette a contatto con l'utente che usa il tuo software e con l'installatore che lo vorrebbe proporre ai suoi clienti.
Questo ti spinge a migliorare sempre il prodotto ed implementare soluzioni a cui non penseresti mai.

C'è qualcosa che proporresti per migliorarla?

Sarebbe carino magari realizzare qualche contest per coinvolgere maggiormente gli utenti.

Sei conosciuto grazie alla oramai celebre applicazione iMyHome, che anche io uso per controllare il mio impianto My Home.
Come e quando hai avuto l'idea di realizzarla?

Quando ho comprato il mio primo iPhone ho capito subito la potenzialità della piattaforma.
Purtroppo a quel tempo non c'era ancora un SDK ufficiale e la cosa non era per niente semplice, però mi ha permesso di farmi le ossa ed essere pronto quando Apple ha creato l'AppStore.

Perché hai pensato proprio all'integrazione con My Home?

Ho pensato a My Home perché chiaramente ce l'avevo in casa. L'apertura riscontrata ha poi confermato che si è trattata di un'ottima scelta.

Che contributo ha avuto la Community My Open nello sviluppo?

Devo ripetermi ma la community ha contribuito molto alla realizzazione del prodotto.
Devo molto anche e soprattutto a diversi utenti del forum che si sono prestati a farmi da beta tester, a darmi preziosi consigliarmi e persino a scrivermi i manuali.

Raccontaci quali clienti hai e che esigenze hanno (nel campo dell'integrazione/personalizzazione).

I miei clienti sono coloro che acquistano il mio software tramite l'AppStore di Apple.
Desiderano controllare tutto, in modo semplice e veloce.
E più gli dai più chiedono.
Una richiesta frequente ma per ora insoddisfatta è quella di ricevere le chiamate del citofono direttamente su iMyHome.

Oltre all’ Italia da dove provengono i tuoi clienti?

All'estero iMyHome è stato acquistato principalmente in Belgio, Russia, Francia, Spagna in Europa, ma anche negli USA e in Asia.

Sei finito su riviste e siti web grazie alla tua applicazione, te l'aspettavi?

Sinceramente no, la cosa mi ha fatto molto piacere.

There are interesting brand new devices in MyHome world!

Multimedia Interface 3465

The multimedia interface lets you interact with your Bticino MyHome system; connected to the television it lets you control automation, lighting, sound diffusion, alarm sysyem, communication, and energy management systems.

You can visualize a video door entry call, switch the lights ON and OFF; raise and lower the rolling shutters, activate the burglar alarm, adjust the room temperature etc..

Other devices can be connected to the Multimedia Interface such as DVD reader, MP3 reader and stereo and they can be used as My Home system multimedia source. You can also read multimedia files from a nas hard disk.

The multimedia interface is used with icon menus and the composition of the menu mirrors your My Home system.

It's also possible to control the Multimedia Interface with the new Videostation Nighter and Whice.

modem/router F444U4

This new device is a modem router ADSL with 4 lan RJ45 port. It can work as a 10/100Mbit switch.
The configuration procedure can be performed via software or administration web pages.

This device can be supplied by 346000, 392100 power supply or by 346030 compact power supply.

Interfaccia multimediale 3465

La nuova interfaccia multimediale permette di integrare il sistema MY HOME, le funzioni videocitofoniche e la gestione della multimedialità. Grazie al menu ad icone visualizzato sulla TV è possibile interagire con l'intero impianto MY HOME e gestire i contenuti provenienti da sorgenti esterne utilizzando un unico telecomando radio.

Il menu ad icone visualizzato sul monitor permette di interagire con l'impianto di casa per comandare le diverse funzioni, visualizzare lo stato dei dispositivi, visualizzare le immagini delle telecamere e gestire le funzioni multimediali.

Si può accedere al menu dell'interfaccia Multimediale anche tramite Posto interno (Nighter e Whice): tramite icona apposita si può vedere esattamente quanto visualizzato in quel dato istante sul monitor collegato all'interfaccia. Tramite Posto Interno si possono quindi gestire tutte le funzioni MY HOME e condividere i contenuti multimediali gestiti dall'interfaccia (è possibile navigare all' interno del menu del dvd in riproduzione oppure ascoltare una collezione di mp3 presente su un computer/hard disk di rete collegato all'interfaccia).

Questo nuovo dispositivo è un modem router ADSL fornito di 4 porte LAN RJ45 con funzioni di switch 10/100 Mbit/s. L'installazione avviene su guida DIN (10 moduli) ribassata. Può essere posizionato all'interno dei centralini.

La configurazione viene effettuata tramite l'utility software o tramite le pagine WEB di amministrazione. Il dispositivo funziona a bassa tensione e può essere collegato agli alimentatori art. 346000 e 392100, oppure all'alimentatore compatto 346030.
