This device allows the communication between Grandhermetic shutters, with motor Somfy, and BTicino/Legrand MyHome system.

The fundamental functionality is to manage, through information coming from a BTicino actuator, the commands such as: ISG80 and ISG83 of Somfy's motors with a precise temporization.

The general commands can be sent from a Touch Screen IP H4684 through a specific firmware, given as an accessory from STitalia.

STitalia adds to your installation the single and even the general command functionality, through a simple management page.

This software script runs as an application in a Mac computer to talk and help the user to find out the status of devices in the My Home different systems.

The software interacts with the user, types the commands for the user, sends commands to gateways and interpret their responses. The software helps the user to understand the OWN language WHO, WHERE, and WHAT, The software has the option of talking to the user making it a fun experience while using it.

1. The user is guided to select and test gateways and systems (all WHOs),
2. Select WHERE: Ambients and groups.
3. Finally and quickly it counts devices and it show their status.

When connected it discovers all switches except those that have been configured in PUL modality, or the have been declared as PUL in the gateway configuration. It discovers the devices with group configurations.

mhSpy is of great help to discover hidden switches that are never used, unknown group and pul configurations, incomplete specifications in the gateway software. Most people keep a written list of installed my home devices, and this software is a great way to check the accuracy of the list in minutes.

The software shows responses from scenarios in the F420, lighting, automation, load control, temperature control, alarm, and scenarios in the MH200N energy management and dry contacts. And it serves as auditing for my home systems by studying the gateways that provide different responses to the same command.
To use this software it is not required to know in advance the OWN protocol, but just trying the software it is easy to understand the commands and the responses. Run the test, turn ON some light, and re-run the test and you will notice the different commands.

General Information

BL: Since the inception, BEL Lighting has been inclined towards latest technology trends and with a special effort in lighting and lighting control, we could foresee a significant demand of home automation in luxury apartments and residences.

Service and appropriate guidance form the key ingredients to successfully approaching clients. Also, to demonstrate the capabilities and limitations of home automation, we have designed an experience centre in midtown Mumbai, which is a sample of a high-end luxury apartment. Through this we communicate the concept and guide clients accordingly.

My Open Staff :"Could you tell us about a specific /particular project /projects you have installed My Home? Tell us the story: customer requirement ; solution, which system have you used? Was the customer satisfied?"

BL: Every project has been an experience – whether it is the world’s most expensive home – Antilia (a 29-storey single family home) in Mumbai or top of the line luxury apartments designed by Armani, to pick a favourite project is like asking which child you love the most. But, one of the most gratifying projects for me has been a three floor single-family apartment in a premium Mumbai locality. It was one of those projects, where the client wanted only switches and did not want any automation components in his project, but he had selected Bticino switches and sockets. After showing the concept to him, we asked the client to automate only one room and wire the house such that if needed, we automate the home in the future. After he saw the convenience automation was offering him, he decided to automate the entire house immediately. The client and architect have been very satisfied and have referred us to several others since then.

Introduction

The functions provided are the following:

monitoring and command all the Automations, burglar alarm, CCTV and power management and thermoregulation system;
audio and video real time connection;
listen to audio messages and see the pictures on the Personal Computer.

With the activation of the MY HOME WEB service, the house can be managed remotely not only from the PC or handheld connected to the Internet, but also from a landline or mobile phone.

Troubleshooting

The F453AV does not respond to requests via Ethernet (browser, ping, etc.)

Check that the power supply cable is connected.
Check that the video door entry system is correctly connected and working.
Check that the PC Ethernet cable (used to communicate with the F453AV) and the F453AV cable are correctly connected to their RJ45 ports.
Check that the PC used to communicate with the F453AV and the F453AV are correctly configure (in particular, check that the PC network interface is active and that its IP address and netmask are compatible with those of the device).
Also check that the IP addresses set in the PC and the F453AV are not already being used by other devices in the LAN.

The F453AV does not send e-mail

Make sure that the settings for the SMTP to be contacted to send e-mail, entered in TiF453AV, are correct.
Check with at least one other electronic mail server (ISP), after configuring the F453AV again with TiF453AV.

The F453AV does not perform the commands sent to the MY HOME systems

If there is an annoying echo during a remote real-time connection with the video door entry system, check the settings of the audio card installed on the PC.
Use headphones instead of loudspeakers to avoid the echo effect.
If when a camera is switched ON there is a black picture on the Web page, wait for at least one minute and try again.
If when a camera is switched ON “service not available” appears on the Web page, wait for at least one minute and try again.
If the device does not save the Video door entry answering system messages, make sure that the “Video door entry answering system” function has been activated.
If messages which have already been cancelled appear in the Answering machine Web page, enter the Browser program configuration screen and cancel the cache. Then set the Browser program so that it does not recover pages from its cache.
