    hi!

    i'm confused!
I have now downloaded an installed imyhome.zip for windows on my computer.
My question now: how to configure and use this program?
on the installed version i can not change the settings.

due to my bad english and no italian language-knowledge it is very difficult for my to understand the postings in this forum. (as a german speaking user it is not easy to handle the bticino-system) 🙁

i have: MH2000, F453AV and all (working) software installed on my pc and want to control my system by pc with windows xp… (i also have an ipod touch with installed imyhome for ipod) – now i want to do the same on my pc!

thanks for your understanding and replies!
    greetings from Austria!

    Grà¼àŸ Gott Wolfgang.

    Welcome in this community 😉
Your english is not so bad… don't worry!

iMyHome for PC is a beta version.
Andrea_AP is still developing it, I don't know the time-line for this software.

If I remember well, you have to configure an XML file, but also you need a activation key from Andrea.

Have you tried My Sweet Home?

    Hi
under Start, Programs, ImyHome you should find an icon named "Modifica il file di configurazione"; this is an xml file (configuration.xml) containing all the settings, starting from the IP of your gateway and then setting all the lights, automation, etc… that you want to control….
remeber that the IP address of yout computer must be enabled on the gateway to access it without open pwd…
here are some examples for you to understand the way it works

    [code:1]

    [/code:1]

the device address is the A+PL of the light,
type and subtype are used to configure different items (i.e. lights, dimmer, shutter, socket),
the id is only a progressive number to identify a specific a+PL,
the name is the one you want to be displayed in the program…

I hope this is understandable to you, if not we are here to help you
    Regards
    Andrea
